Most insurance agency websites come with some form of SEO, but did you know that there are different kinds of search engine optimization (SEO)? It's important to know the difference between them and to set your expectations for results accordingly.

Technical SEO:

Technical SEO is the process of making sure that your website is technically sound and that it meets the requirements of search engines. This is an important part of any SEO strategy, but it's not as flashy as organic SEO. Local SEO:

This is what most people think of when they hear the term 'SEO' but it's not the kind of SEO most insurance agency websites are getting.. It can take time and effort to see results with organic SEO.

Paid SEO:

Paid SEO, also known as pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, is the process of buying ads that appear in the search results. This can be a quick and effective way to get traffic to your website, but it can also be expensive. It isn't really a type of SEO but we have seen website hosting and marketing companies use this tactic in the early stages of a website launch to 'prove' 'SEO' results.
