The local pack, sometimes called the three-pack or snack pack, is a feature that appears at the top of Google's search results page for local searches. It typically includes three businesses that are relevant to the search query, along with their contact information, address, and website.

The local pack is indispensable for insurance agencies who want to get their name and information in front of potential customers, and it can be a great way to drive traffic to your website or office.

What Kind of Search Queries Will Result in Local Pack SERP Display?

The local pack will appear for a variety of local searches, but some of the most common include:

  • Optimize your website for local search. In addition to your Google My Business listing, you should also optimize your website for local search. This means including your business name, address, and phone number on your website, as well as using relevant keywords and phrases throughout your content. You should also create a Google My Business NAP (name, address, and phone number) citation for your business, which is a listing of your business's NAP information on other websites.
  • Get positive reviews. Positive reviews are a great way to improve your local search ranking. Encourage your customers to leave reviews for your business on Google My Business, Yelp, and other review sites, but especially on Google.
